The Benefits

  • For the last two years, Project iMlango has been providing improved education outcomes to over 68,000 marginalised girls across 205 Kenyan primary schools, supporting 150,000 pupils in total
  • Combining a fully integrated e-learning platform with robust measurement, the project is benefitting from broadband connectivity to rural schools via satellite
  •  iMlango also raises awareness for government or private sector spending in connecting African schools to the internet.
  • The programme has clear wider applications across the education sector in Sub-Saharan Africa
