Avanti congratulates its Spanish customer, Operadora Tripla, which has been successful in winning a state funded rural broadband project in Chantada.
Chantada, with 9,000 inhabitants, is a rural area in the south of Lugo province in the heart of Galicia region in the NW of the Iberian peninsula. Operadora Tripla will use Avanti's HYLAS 1 system to bring broadband to this region and we are delighted to see that our technology is competing successfully around Europe and delivering on Avanti's commitment to bridge the EU digital divide.
