The Welsh Assembly Government’s Broadband Support Scheme

The Broadband Support Scheme is aimed at individuals, businesses and other organisations in communities that do not have access to broadband. The scheme will provide funding to cover the upfront costs of purchasing a broadband solution where existing providers have been unable to provide a service.

If you live or work in a broadband notspot, have not previously received public funding for broadband and meet the eligibility criteria, then you can apply for funding under the scheme.

Our product range provides choice for consumers and businesses, and will meet the UK’s overall Universal Service Commitment. Service packages at speeds of up to 8Mbps/2Mbps will be available. All our services will run over our latest Ka-band satellite, HYLAS 1, and will access the internet via our new state-of-the-art ground stations at Goonhilly and Lands End, Cornwall.
